Kat is fully insured and experienced walking dogs both on and off lead, including walking multiple dogs together. She has years of dog walking experience, and holds a certificate in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh. While very happy to walk dogs off lead, exercise off lead will only be completed with your express permission. Kat is a keen runner so can guarantee your dog a good workout whether on or off lead. “Problem dogs” (dogs which cannot go off lead, are not friendly with other dogs, anxious dogs, etc) are very welcome, we actually find that it is highly beneficial for these dogs to run as it allows them to release their pent up energy. One on one sessions are also available for troubled dogs, or for you and your dog together (these will be priced individually with the first session covering getting to know the needs of you and your dog(s) and discussing the way forward).
Kat is delighted to take both regular and one off bookings and would love to get to know you and your dog!
What happens when you book dog walking?
Kat will attend your home prior to the first walk in order to collect keys and so that you can detail your dogs set-up and requirements. Perhaps the most important aspect of this visit is that Kat is introduced to your dog while you are around, which shows them that she is a person you consider safe and allows them to be more comfortable when Kat is walking them alone.
Dog walks are charged at £10 per hour*, with the option to book longer walks (£6 will be charged for each additional hour booked) or multiple walks in the day. Prior to the first walk I will attend your home to meet you and your dog(s), and to collect keys (this visit is free).
We also offer nail clipping for our dog walking clients, charged at £8 per dog.
Please note that I normally work within a 15 mile radius, however I am delighted to discuss with you if you would like me to walk your dog. Generally I will charge expenses at 20p per additional mile traveled over 10 miles, however this may be reduced depending on the exact details of your booking.
*Price per one dog per hour, multiple dogs will be charged at £2 per additional dog
How to Pay:
Payment can be in cash at the key collection visit, or in advance via paypal to email@example.com. For regular bookings cash may be left for collection on a mutually agreed day.
